Alastair and his team have done a terrific job with the design phase of my project. He and James really listened to my needs and my ideas and then came up with a very elegant solution, creating a whole new roof structure which was the key to making an ugly and dysfunctional old bungalow into a really livable modern home. The planning process was enough to make anyone go grey but Alastair remained calm and determined throughout, working well with a private planning consultant. We used Howie Architects to design an extension and remodelling for a house in NR2 we bought at auction. Alastair was very responsive throughout the design process and particularly when dealing with issues raised by the planners. He was also very clear on the fees that would be payable for each stage.
Karen was also very helpful with arranging meetings and helping us obtain an Arboreal Report at short notice over the Christmas / New Year period.

Alastair and team are working with us to design an annexe for our disabled son. The process has been challenging as our house is listed and there were planning complications. In consequence Alastair has twice had to come up with excellent creative solutions with a very limited ground footprint. Throughout the process he and the team have been very patient and supportive. Planning approval has now been granted and we look forward to his support as we progress from plans to reality.
Extremely pleased with the work that Alastair and team did for us . We had a large two story extension and complete renovation of an Edwardian house in Norwich . He and his team worked well with the planners to ensure permission was granted . It was despite objection from a neighbour so take that is his design worked for the planners . He worked well with the building contractor when required . The project is now complete and we are delighted

Alistair thoroughly supported us through the design process and was so helpful in the remodel of our 1920s home in Norwich. He came up with super designs which we were really pleased with , using render and cedar as briefed to do so. People often stop and ask who did the deign and tell us it has the ‘wow’ factor!
