Happy Christmas!

A very happy Christmas and a big thank you to all our clients, partners and those who are considering working with us in 2024!

It has been a busy year for everyone here at Howie Architects and we are looking forward to getting stuck into many more exciting projects next year as well.

This is the time of year when grown-up children return home, grandchildren come to spend Christmas with some of us, and friends and other family members all descend.

Amid the joy and chaos, this is also when some of us start to wish we had more space – or that our existing space was perhaps rearranged a little differently!

Perhaps we begin to consider extending our homes, converting outbuildings, adding annexes or remodelling our living areas to create more useable accommodation.

After all, for many of us, our needs do change over the years.

Our children get older; some of us start to work from home – and maybe even parents and grandparents move in with us to create multigenerational families.

Some of us also start thinking about future-proofing our homes, considering how we might wish to live in five, 10 or even 20 years from now...
